FAQ

You have questions. We have answers!

We love working with our dog walking and dog training clients. We’ve found many potential clients have had similar questions, so we’re offering you this FAQ.

If you find that your questions are not answered below, please let us know.

What payment methods do you accept?

We can take cash, check and all major credit and debit cards with our online booking system.

How far in advance can services be scheduled?

For our dog training services, we will meet you for an initial consultation/ Jump Start Session and then get you on a regular schedule that fits your needs.

For our dog walking and cat sitting, we usually need a week for new clients, but we will try to accommodate in case of emergency. Once you are in our system and we have keys, we can usually accommodate with 24 hours’ notice, based on availability.

What happens at the consultation?

Our dog trainer will sit down with you to learn more about the challenges you are having with your dog, what your goals for the future are and show you how we can help. Regardless of whether you are seeing us for a new puppy/ dog or for behavioral issues, we will also provide you with some immediate solutions and get you started on your training journey right away.

If you are a new walking or sitting client, we will take the time to learn about your pet’s unique needs. We will also provide references who you can call. After the initial registration visit, we can begin working with you.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Dog training clients must cancel a minimum of 48 hours prior to their next session or consultation

Daily midday dog walking clients must cancel with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Vacation cat sitting clients must cancel with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice

Overnight pet sitting clients must cancel with a minimum of 14 days’ notice and vacation pet sitting clients whose service includes a national holiday must cancel with 14 days’ notice.

Any cancellations not made within these guidelines will be charged 100% of the agreed upon contract.

Are you available on holidays?

We work 365 days a year – including all major holidays. There will be an additional fee for the following holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Years Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day and 4TH of July.

Do you do group/pack walks?

We only walk dogs together if they are from the same household to ensure the safety of your pets.

Can you administer medications?

Let us know during our initial registration visit if your pet will need any medications, and what time(s) they need to be administered. We can give pills and subcutaneous fluid injections on-time so your pet never misses a dose.

How often will you visit my pet(s)?

For pet sitting clients, we will visit your pets as many times per day as you like, with a minimum of once per day for cats.

What time will you visit my pet(s)?

We will endeavor to keep as close to your pet’s regular schedule as possible whether we are providing midday dog walks or vacation care. We will discuss your requirements during our initial consultation and work to accommodate your needs.

Do you have any vaccination requirements?

All pets must be up-to-date with their vaccinations so that we do not risk spreading diseases to other clients’ pets. We do make exceptions for pets who are unable to be vaccinated due to medical reasons, and we do accept titers as proof of immunity.
